4(b) An Ordinance authorizing and directing the Safety Service Director to accept assistance to Firefighters Grant Funds in the amount of $54,943.45 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to solicit bids for the procurement of certain air compressor equipment for the City of Amherst Fire Department, and to award the contract for such equipment to the lowest responsive and and responsible bidder; and declaring an emergency.
