6. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS FIRST READING:
(a) An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. O-19-08 (An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Safety/Service Director to Solicit Bids for the 2019 Street Rehabilitation Program and authorizing and directing the Safety/Service Director to award the contract for such work to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for professional services with Bramhall Engineering and Surveying Company Relating to such program; and declaring an emergency); and declaring an emergency.
(b) An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. O-15-32 (An Ordinance to extend the program for reimbursement of up to $500 of the cost of installing sanitary/storm sewer backflow valves); and declaring an emergency.
(c) An Ordinance amending Chapters 1301, 1305, 1307, 1309, 1311 and 1315 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Amherst, Ohio; and declaring an emergency.
(d) An Ordinance amending Chapter 1313 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Amherst, Ohio; and declaring an emergency.

(a) A Resolution to adopt the Solid Waste Management Plan for the Lorain County Solid Waste Management District.
(b) An Ordinance authorizing the Safety Service Director to enter into a contract for the installation of a salt barn through the State of Ohio Cooperative Purchasing Program; and to enter into a contract between the City of Amherst, Ohio and Griffith Paving, Inc. for the pouring of an asphalt base and the grading and compacting of existing base at the City of Amherst’s Utilities Complex.
