5. Acknowledgement of the Public pertaining to items on the Agenda:

6(a) An Ordinance authorizing and directing the Safety Service Director to submit an application to the Ohio Pubic Works Commission for State Issue I (Round 39) funds for the year 2025 for roadway improvements and repairs on South Lake Street and various other streets; and declaring an emergency. 6(b) An Ordinance to establish the salary, terms and other conditions of employment for the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Amherst, repealing all Ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency. (A-24-31)

6(c) An Ordinance establishing the salaries and benefits for the Amherst Fire Department, repealing all Ordinances In conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency. (A-24-32)

6(d) An Ordinance levying upon Lorain County Parcel No. 05-00-001-000-273 an assessment for the cost of repairing and replacing a certain public sidewalk under the City of Amherst, Ohio’s 2022 Sidewalk Program; and declaring an emergency. A-24-30)

6(e) An Ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to sell Lorain County Parcel No. 05-00-038-101-012 via competitive bidding at public auction and advertise such auction as required by Section 721.03 of the Ohio Revised Code. (A-24-33)

6(f) An Ordinance creating a training/transitional employment position within the Treasurer’s Office of the City of Amherst, Ohio; and declaring an emergency. (A-24-28)
